News are slow

Yes, they are lately but i'm always here and if anything comes up it will be in CharmedComicFan.

What we are expecting now is a Charmed #22 release date and of course some season 10 news.

Solicitations for new issues are usually released 16-20 of every month so we will probably have news on the issue that comes after #24 very soon (if Charmed doesn't have a hiatus after the end of season 9). In that case we will have to wait more.

Stay tuned.

I hope there's a bit of a hiatus. I think season 9 has been a bit messy and I think a bit of a break will be a good thing. They need to find a new artist for sure.

I do hope there is a hiatus too. even though it might be annoying at first it will be a big help for the comics. Buffy took about an 8 month hiatus between seasons 8 & 9 (that's too long!. I'd be fine w/ a 4 month hiatus from releases. That way they can work on the comics during that time & be ahead about 4 issues. No more delays please :)

did anyone else think the colours looked a little weird? sometimes it was hard to tell which was piper and which was paige, and paige has red hair
so good to see darryl back though! and i like that piper is less than impressed with prue, maybe meant to mirror how shannen doherty originally didnt want anything else to do with charmed?
and i hope we get to see victor using powers, see how he thinks about himself being a witch when he was so against grams raising the girls as witches

@paul yeah! in the 2nd panel on the 2nd to last page, the coloring for Paige and Piper was switched. instead of red hair, a green jacket and a grey top, Paige had brown hair, a yellow jacket and a Green top.

    Just a quick unrelated question:

You know volume 3 had 13-19 in it,
Does this mean volume 4 will just have 20-24?
Because that's quite short for a volume.

Yes, Volume four is gonna contain only 5 issues, since its the season finale... Saddly, unless Paul surprises us with a bonus issue like To the Warren Born, which would be awesome!!!

It's interesting how the sisters had grey-like eye color when all three actresses have brown eyes. Artwork was decent, but the coloring left much to be desired.

Mmmm I liked the artwork! it was great! Dean has improved a great deal for Phoebe...
The plot was a little weak i believe.. of course, the appearance of Darryl was great, but not a lot has happened in this issue. I feel it was more of a prelude to something epic. i guess the future issues are gonna be more actionfilled

I'd love it if season 9 ended with Prue looking like Shannen, but that isn't going to happen.

all the rushing around is often counterproductive. I know, in our society action is all-important — inaction is seen as lazy and passive and unproductive. However, sometimes too much action is worse than no action at all. You can run around crazily, all sound and fury, but get nothing done. Or you can get a lot done — but nothing important. Or you can hurt things with your actions, make things worse than if you’d stayed still.

i buy the digital copies of the comics so i was wondering if anyone could tell me... in the HARDCOPY of issue 5... the last page when melinda orbs the teddy bare... at the bottom of the page does it say "The End" or "To be continued" i noticed that in some digital copies of the issues it does, in some it doesnt... idk if this is how its supposed to be in some issues or the pages just got cut off!

    StoryGirl83 (Sunday, 06 May 2012 22:49)

@p4fan4ever - 19 says The End, but it's to Quinn's book and the next page is title epilogue. There is no the end or continued on that page. There is nothing at the end of issue #13. Issue 6 ends with the end of Phoebe's novel pieces . . . The word Trust. No The End or To be continued. And there is nothing at the end of issue 5 either. Does that help?

it does storygirl thank you so much! one last question maybe you can help me with... in VOLUME 2... does it have a table of contents like voume 1 cause the digital copy does not!

    p3nathan (Monday, 07 May 2012 09:02)

@p4fan4ever- Yes, all the volumes have a contents page.

@p4fan4ever - The digital copies are a little odd, skipping pages that they don't think for whatever reason are needed. I understand skipping the ads, but the table of contents and the pages with info on the creative team, that makes no sense.

@storygirl83 do you buy the digital copies as well... when you say skip pages you dont mean pages with stories on them etc right.... what pages do they leave out normally?

    StoryGirl83 (Tuesday, 08 May 2012 07:12)

@p4fan4ever - I only have seen two of the Charmed digital copies (0 and 14), but I've purchased four Zenescope digital volumes from comiXology and they left out title pages mostly, the pages in between issues in the comics. The other thing they like to leave out (which I don't mind so much) is the ads. Though it would be nice if they left in the ads for the next issue.
