  • #4

    Barron (Thursday, 11 October 2012 13:08)

The only question we need answered now: Was the flashforwards in Forever Charmed real or some sort of premonition?

  • #5

    Julie (Friday, 12 October 2012 14:52)

@ Barron I think it was a flash forward may have been real but I don't know.

  • #6

    charmedcomicfan (Saturday, 13 October 2012 16:40)

i believe they are real and so far Paul respects and follows the continuity of these flash forwards.

  • #7

    Barron (Sunday, 14 October 2012 21:06)

To me, they are premonitions witnessed by Phoebe. I rather them not be real so Cole and Phoebe can indeed get together.

  • #8

    p4fan4ever (Tuesday, 16 October 2012 04:38)

@henry I posted something for you in issue 24 spoilers about prue/patience and our theories!

  • #9

    TheFanatic (Thursday, 18 October 2012 16:33)

About your theories, I asked Paul on twitter if the issue would be addressed in the future and he said yes.

  • #10

    Julie (Friday, 19 October 2012 15:06)

Wish all of season 9 was just a dream.

Paul's thank you message to the fans

"Thanks to all the Charmed fans for coming along with us on the journey through season 9. Hope you enjoyed it!!"

    Josh (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 20:29)

Paul has revived Charmed fully, for example Prue, which I'm eternally grateful for, but overall, Season 9 has been epic and promising for another great Season! If only he had been found sooner then the show would have ended on a better note. But, I guess better late than never will suffice. Anyway, thanks to Paul for being awesomely charming! :D Pumped for issue 25!

  • #2

    julie (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 22:33)

I agree, if this had been the final season, fans would of loved it. Its a shame because I love the character of Prue, and yes a recast may not have been ideal, but better than nothing.

  • #3

    Mason (Thursday, 04 October 2012 00:53)

I honestly do not understand the cover for #25 after the ending to #24... Can't wait to see how they spin it :D

  • #4

    p3nathan (Thursday, 04 October 2012 06:54)

Hey guys, I've had a problem with my comic ordering, so never got the Darklight Zone, hence the lack of reviews. However I am happy to report that a Power of 300 review WILL be on my channel very soon :)

More Charmed #24 previews

The big battle begins!

With these 2 new previews we have a total of 6 pages.

i really love rubine's work !! she/he is better than Dean kortz

  • #6

    p2 (Saturday, 06 October 2012 04:19)

because comparinf issue 12(dean kortz work) and issue 24 not the storyline only the work issue 24 it is really better

  • #7

    Charmedforevah (Saturday, 06 October 2012 19:02)

Rubine has done a good job, but i don't recognize the Charmed universe anymore ... but well i guess the Charmedverse has evolved.
Their powers are unrecognizable (i mean the art...)especially in this issue. And there is a big lack of backgrounds in Rubine's work...

I preferred Dean Kotz's art, but Rubine does the job pretty well.
Great issue, but too much enhanced magic going on over there... i wonder what paul will come up with in the next finale

Charmed #24 previews

Here they are!

Art by Rubine, Colors by John Hunt

  • #3

I didn't know Obama was in this issue! lol

  • #4

    chloefan03 (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 04:04)

great! but i'm still not a fan of the art, i think Kotz is a better artist :)

  • #5

    Alex Collado (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 10:36)

Well, I think Rubine has drawn the sisters very well, and Kotz has drawn a lot of issues... It's time for Rubine's artwork! But I really think that the best artwork was in issue 19 with Fowler!

  • #6

    Julie (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 11:22)

    Was Max in there?

  • #7

    StoryGirl83 (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 11:33)

@Julie - I wondered that, too. I'm leaning toward no since Max is a witch and as far as we know only the Charmed Ones got their powers back of the magical world. I'm not going to say a definite no, mostly because I want it to be him.

  • #8

    Henry (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 14:15)

No, that one is Henry!!! I know... he's awful!!

  • #9

    Henry (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 14:17)

And the blonde woman is Bailey! And not Miss Donovan

  • #10

    Julie (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 14:53)

Why does Henry look like a black guy?

  • #11

    StoryGirl83 (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 15:43)

@Henry - Pretty much on par with Dave Hoover's Henry (only family member of his that I really couldn't stand). Of course the color is on John Hunt, but he probably didn't realize that it was Henry or he'd have done that differently. He has colored Henry before after all.

Weird about Bailey's hair color change.

  • #12

    Henry (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 15:57)

@StoryGirls83 The last Henry's picture is good!! He's like Henry in that one... But one panel in a full issue is not enough! I like John Hunt's work, but it's been a real problem recognize Bailey with that hair!

  • #13

    StoryGirl83 (Wednesday, 03 October 2012 17:23)

@Henry - Since I have read the whole issue, I do know what you mean. I was specifically referencing that picture on the first page. And believe me, I like John Hunt's work, too, so so much better than Dash Martin's. I hope this time they keep him longer, because I would enjoy having him back for longer.

On an off note. I was thrilled to finally have Bailey's occupation confirmed (I wasn't sure if she was a librarian or a teacher who liked research). Now if only she would get a last name. Recurring characters deserving last names (and no I don't just mean her).

that's fine by me, I would have avoided previews with it being the finale anyway... until realizing I have no will power when it comes to spoilers. So best they're not releasing them yet :p

  • #3

    charmedcomicfan (Saturday, 29 September 2012 06:24)

the cover for a volume (the finished one with logos) usually gets released some days before the volumes release. So i guess we will have it in the first days of October

  • #4

    piper 32 (Saturday, 29 September 2012 08:51)

    any previews???

It says on amazon volume 4 out on 8th january

  • #7

    macp4 (Saturday, 29 September 2012 10:59)

I pre-ordered mine awhile ago and my copy is coming on october so I think that is a second batch coming out on january

  • #8

    p3nathan (Saturday, 29 September 2012 13:48)

Based on my own pre-ordering experiences, Amazon aren't very reliable when it comes to release dates... I think a lot of the time they just pick a really late one to cover themselves. I'd just trust Zenescope

  • #9

    charmedcomicfan (Saturday, 29 September 2012 17:33)

yes, amazon is always not accurate about the dates. Zenescope said volume 4 is still coming october 9

  • #10

    StoryGirl83 (Saturday, 29 September 2012 19:49)

    @charmedcomicfan - Do you mean 10th? The 9th is a Tuesday.

  • #11

    chloefan03 (Tuesday, 02 October 2012 12:27)

hi Kostas, do you know if Zenescope's planning to release some previews before tomorrow? it's the better way to be sure that the issue will be out

  • #12

    charmedcomicfan (Tuesday, 02 October 2012 13:31)

i contacted a site that released previews and they replied:
"Zenescope hasn't provided them yet. It might not be until next week as the guy that does them is apparently out sick."
That was last week, but previews are still not out, so maybe we won't get previews at all this time.
Comixology will probably release some tomorrow

Next Week : Charmed #24

1 week left for the Season 9 finale and Zenescope confirms it on facebook

  • Next week's releases are:
  • Bad Girls #3 , Charmed #24 (the season finale!), The Jungle Book trade paperback, and, of course, ROBYN HOOD #1!

I guess its better this way, I'd rather have them take their time and make a good, quality, amazing season nine finale that we'll remember then a rushed piece that doesn't reach It's full potential...

  • #2

    L-L (Saturday, 22 September 2012 17:07)

I hope it's worth waiting for...

  • #3

    paul (Saturday, 22 September 2012 17:14)

im just wondering how theyre going to wrap everything up in one issue, unless season ten is going to be a direct continuation

  • #4

    Barron (Sunday, 23 September 2012 12:12)

I wonder too Paul. What do you guys think would have happened in the comics had Alyssa left the show and not Shannen? Do you think Alyssa would have let her image be used in the show and comics?

  • #5

    james (Sunday, 23 September 2012 15:06)

I think it depends on how severe the problem is...If Alyssa has resentment toward the show, I'm sure she won't let the producers to use her phoebe would have looked different

  • #6

    Pruefan1329 (Sunday, 23 September 2012 23:10)

Well at the same time, we're still unsure as to whether Shannen ever directly declined letting her likeness be used, as that one Twitter convo proved, she wasnt aware of it until that point...

  • #7

    StoryGirl83 (Monday, 24 September 2012 00:22)

Due to the difference in Shannen and Alyssa's contracts (at least from what I've heard) they might well have been able to use Alyssa's image on the show so long as they paid her for it whether she wanted them to or not and likewise, she might not have had as much sway in her image being used for Phoebe in the comics as Shannen does for her image being used for Prue. I guess unless we get a very candid interview with those involved we probably will never know for sure. And that interview is unlikely to happen.

  • #8

    macp4 (Monday, 24 September 2012 14:47)

I saw somewhere that shannens owns 5% of charmed thats probably the reason she may have more sway in her image being used

  • #9

    p3nathan (Monday, 24 September 2012 18:40)

I can believe that. People give Shannen a hard time, but having her as the lead witch (not to mention in another Spelling show) was a HUGE part of why the WB picked it up in the first place. We may not have had Charmed if it wasn't for her.

  • #10

    Barron (Monday, 24 September 2012 20:35)

Thank you everyone. And I agree with P3nathan. We likely wouldn't have had Charmed if it wasn't for her. Which is probably why she owns 5% of Charmed. Also, please check out my Charmed Alternate Season 4 Fanfiction where Prue lives and Phoebe dies.
It is very different from the start of my season 4. The fanfiction actually includes a variation of Paige's whitelighter side and hint...Victor is Paige's father.

    Any news for charmed #24?

  • #8

    charmedcomicfan (Thursday, 20 September 2012 16:15)

Not yet sorry. It is supposed to be released next week but Paul said he isnt very sure about the date we have and it may be released one week later (October 3rd). Also previewsworld released the list for 9/26 comics and charmed is not in it. So, we'll see

  • #9

    Julie (Thursday, 20 September 2012 16:24)

My guess it will be 10/3.

  • #10

    paul (Thursday, 20 September 2012 16:50)

as it is the last issue of the season, do you reckon we'll see the door being closed in the time honoured tradition? perhaps prue could close it, like she did in season one and two, with her powers, or maybe one of the kids or something?

  • #11

    charmedcomicfan (Thursday, 20 September 2012 17:08)

I really believe paul will not stop the tradition of closing the Manor's door at the end of a season

  • #12

    Henry (Friday, 21 September 2012 06:29)

I hope season 9 finale will be like season 3 finale, but with Charmed Ones (and Prue) alive... But the story needs some victims frome the side of good!

  • #14

    p3nathan (Friday, 21 September 2012 07:46)

I'm definitely expecting at least one death, considering how big the fight is supposedly going to be. I can't think of a character that I wouldn't be sad to see go though, mortal or magical. Although I guess death doesn't mean never seeing them again, but it would still be very sad.

  • #15

    Jesus (Friday, 21 September 2012 07:49)

I think it is wrong, maybe I'm wrong, you could look at it and if I could change this bad? my real twitter is @jesusdiazcrespo :)

  • #16

    Steph (Sunday, 23 September 2012 16:31)

Zoe I don't think that they will kill Coop at the end of season 9 because he is the less interesting character around there. Probably they will kill a character that people adore. The less interesting ones always remain. Probably Prue or Cole because they are technically dead.

  • #17

    StoryGirl83 (Monday, 24 September 2012 00:24)

@Steph - Not to mention the fact that they seemed to be trying to follow the finale and Coop still has another child to father.

  • #18

    Zoe (Monday, 24 September 2012 02:00)

Why would they do that? Why would they kill a character that most people love instead of killing one that most people consider it boring. Paul said at SDCC in 2010 I saw it on you tube, that they are going to try to follow the finale and the show itself, but if they don't agree with something they will try to contradict it in a logical way. So you never know what is going to happen.

  • #19

    Julie (Monday, 24 September 2012 15:02)

    Never say never!

  • #20

    Pavel Ana (Monday, 24 September 2012 16:02)

Why do they have to kill someone from the good camp, I don't want that and I wouldn't like that. If they want to kill some of the good guys I think Steph has a point Zoe they are not going to kill Coop. I don't think that they are going to kill Prue or Cole because it would be very predictable and most people I think that they would expect this. I don't know how is that possible to kill them if they are already dead. So it would remain Leo which I don't think they have the brave to do that because fans will be angry, Henry I don't think so because Paul seems to love Henry, at least this is my impression, so it remains Daryl which I am almost sure that Paul would kill him. Why him and not Coop? Well because they probably want to have a huge reaction from people. At least this is what I saw that most people which write coomics do. I also read other 2 comics besides this one and in the finale of one of them one of the characters that people loved was killed by other character that people really loved. They could have picked a character that nobody cared about, but no they wanted reactions from fans and they were not positive ones. I think that they are still having reactions from the fans because of that. I maybe wrong, I hope I am wrong because I don't want anybody from the good camp to die.

  • #21

    Zoe (Tuesday, 25 September 2012 04:45)

Well Ana if this happens I will be very upset. I hope that you won't be right.

  • #22

    Henry (Tuesday, 25 September 2012 07:37)

I love Daryl but his death would be cool. The sisters would be upset and we know that when this happens they do great things (Piper as fury was great)!

  • #23

    Kimora (Tuesday, 25 September 2012 08:29)

I say that it would be much more interesting if Coop dies, I don't want Daryl to die.

  • #24

    Pavel Ana (Tuesday, 25 September 2012 15:43)

I hope so too Zoe I will be very upset if Daryl dies because I love Daryl. As for Coop I am very indifferent if he lives or if he dies. But again I don't think that they will kill Coop, we won't get rid of him so easly. And if Paul wants to kill someone I would warmly advise him to kill demons from the evil camp and leave the good guys alone.

  • #25

    Barron (Tuesday, 25 September 2012 17:11)

I actually hope Coop dies. That way we can have Phoebe and Cole back together. Cole could help Phoebe grieve and they fall back in love. But, what about the season 8 finale? Are they ever gonna identify this as what will really happen or one of Phoebe's premonitions?

  • #26

    Nicolette (Wednesday, 26 September 2012 05:09)

I like the way you think Barron .

  • #27

    Julie (Wednesday, 26 September 2012 13:10)

I don't think results from season 8 was a premonition.

  • #28

    Pavel Ana (Wednesday, 26 September 2012 15:44)

That would be very nice Barron, but I don't understand someting, I didn't understand the premonition part. And it would be impossible the events from season 8 to be the result of a premonition. Why would they have written season 9 the way they did if it was just a premonition?

  • #29

    Julie (Thursday, 27 September 2012 12:21)

I betcha Barron thinks this is Dallas Ana. If you never saw the old Dallas reruns.

Charmed #24 coming 1 week later?

Paul Ruditis:

  • I hate to be a killjoy, but you MIGHT have to wait one more week. I'm not entirely sure about that release date.

Paul is not very sure about the release date and Zenescope hasnt updated on a new date so nothing is sure yet. We'll have to wait and see.

Great to see a HQ version (although without the logo), that's definitely the Manor now that we have a clearer look. I love the cover overall...but is it just me or does Piper's face look a bit off?

OMG they grew up! Don't think they're going to look anything like Wez Ramsey lol.

  • #11

    Barron (Friday, 14 September 2012 23:31)

I think Prue will become a bigger focus in season 10 while Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are stuck in the ghostly plane. Prue must find a way to save her sisters while they have their own run-ins with demons and ghosts from the past.

  • #12

    StoryGirl83 (Saturday, 15 September 2012 11:38)

@Barron - That would be cool if we got to see some of the innocents they didn't save, again. And I'm all for more Prue. I'm not going to take all of that from the cover, but if you actually are along the rig track I'm certain I would enjoy it.

Coming Soon! Charmed #24 ad

something i dont understand people are always ragging on dean kotz... but when he did issue 9 and 12 people didnt seem to have a problem...

  • #5

    p4fan4ever (Friday, 07 September 2012 13:01)

prue should move back into the manor next season if theres a spare room/it still exists after the finale

  • #6

    charmedcomicfan (Friday, 07 September 2012 13:05)

Personally i dont think Prue will become regular. I dont think we will ever have conversations like "Good Morning Prue, coffee is ready etc"
But i really hope she drops by in the story from time to time in S10 or that she gets a beautiful ending in #24 or a oneshot. I really believe Prue deserves a oneshot

  • #7

    p4fan4ever (Friday, 07 September 2012 13:49)

the thing is, now that shes back i really want her integrated into the sisters lives, especially paiges life- I want ALL FOUR SISTERS to share the bond that paige and prue share with piper and phoebe. Also Charmed followers the story of the halliwell sisters and prue IS one of the halliwell sisters so now that she is back, she should very well be made into a main character again!

  • #8

    p4fan4ever (Friday, 07 September 2012 13:52)

however, there is the argument that charmed follows THE CHARMED ONES and prue is no longer a charmed one which i understand, i still hope then that she would at least be made as important as say someone like leo. She really couldnt work around the people she used to at 415 because they would recognize her soul but maybe she could work at magic school

  • #9

    omia (Saturday, 08 September 2012 04:54)

prue not a regular seriously the husbands are regulars so prue should be aswell and get story.

  • #10

    RBN (Saturday, 08 September 2012 06:05)

I´m one of those who think that it would be natural for Prue to be a regular character , but just for a logical reason.

Piper and Paige grew up with Prue , she died and it was devastating for the characters , would it really make sense that after she´s back they only see her every once in a while as if she was an stranger. Nop

  • #11

    p3nathan (Saturday, 08 September 2012 06:34)

The reason I personally don't think she'll be a regular is because she's still technically dead. She's a spirit who's taken over a body... an empty body granted, but I still don't think she can stay that way forever.

  • #12

    p4fan4ever (Saturday, 08 September 2012 08:21)

@p3nathan she would stay alive for the sheer reason it solves the shannen issue- if she dies again shes going to go back to being a spirit which would mean they would have to make an excuse as to why we never see her (since they cant show shannens likeness) so for that reason alone they have to keep her alive!

  • #13

    p3nathan (Saturday, 08 September 2012 10:35)

I'm not sure if that outweighs the entire order and rules set by life and death...

  • #14

    fxrocks (Saturday, 08 September 2012 11:42)

I would love Prue to fight with the angel of death just like she did in season 3 !

  • #15

    p4fan4ever (Saturday, 08 September 2012 11:49)

@p3nathan but since patience actual soul was stolen but yet her body was still alive it was kind like a swop done in styx feet under.... prue resumed the life of a living person and patience took the spot of someone dead

  • #16

    p4fan4ever (Saturday, 08 September 2012 11:50)

swap*** done in styx feet under

  • #17

    CharmedThree (Saturday, 08 September 2012 14:44)

Maybe season 10 will include the kidnap of Prue's soul (possibly by Charon?) if she sticks around. A spirit of a Charmed One who is no longer alive and is not permanently attached to a body is bound to be highly wanted by evil. This way, Prue is not physically there, but is still involved in the storyline.

  • #18

    p3nathan (Saturday, 15 September 2012 16:29)

@p4fan4ever- But in that case Death would be losing two souls. One to Charon and one taking over the body of the former. Not sure that'd work. But we'll see

Charmed #24 completed/fixed cover

The cover on the left is the completed/fixed one

The changes are: Toned down colors, Piper's jaw and Paige's hair

I think Phoebe's power surge inside the dome may explain the different ways Piper and Paige's powers appear here.

  • #9

    charmedcomicfan (Friday, 07 September 2012 13:17)

Concerning the power surge, wouldnt it be amazing if Phoebe was levitating next to Leo in the #24 cover? instead of just having part of her face shown?

  • #10

    p3nathan (Saturday, 08 September 2012 06:36)

I had an image of my head of what I imagined the 1st s10 cover would look like. The sisters looking outward onto what is presumably a bunch of demons, Piper melting the street before them, Paige orbing the BOS into her hands and Phoebe flying above them.

Aaaaaah!!! So awesome. They look like goddesses

  • #2

    StoryGirl83 (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 18:40)

I've been looking at that image over and over since I first saw it and does anyone else thing that's the manor with a lot of missing pieces behind them? And do they look a bit ghostly?

I know the cover doesn't always tell you a lot, but what do you think?

  • #3

    p3nathan (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 18:41)

Those are definitely the steps leading up to the Manor..and you're right, they have ghost legs. Oh the theories in my head right now :P

  • #4

    charmedcomicfan (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 18:45)

surely the manor. I wonder if this cover reflects the aftermath of the season 9 finale battle

  • #5

    p3nathan (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 18:51)

Maybe the sisters are going to transcend. Any Angel fans, think Cordy at the end of s3. Perhaps this is what the full potential of the power of 3 will get them! Like I said, the theories in my head right now lol

  • #6

    charmedcomicfan10 (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 19:03)

Oh i see what you mean! Maybe they will be given the chance to become something higher, higher beings. Now that would be interesting! But of course there is a big chance this is just artistic and means nothing. Cannot wait

  • #7

    p3nathan (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 19:23)

Haha yes... this could easily be an issue 1 cover "Oh my God, Piper can control plants now?" moment :P

  • #8

    charmedcomicfan10 (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 19:34)

I also like that this cover kinda reflects Charmed #1 cover. Piper in the middle Phoebe on the right and Paige on the left. Also Piper has her hands open like the #1 cover. Lastly notice that this cover is mostly light blue like the season 5 DVD. Perhaps it will also be used for the volume

  • #9

    TheFanatic (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 19:42)

    LOVE IT!

  • #10

    p4fan4ever (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 19:59)

i think this MAY just be artistic....cover for issue 23 has a naked piper and piper really didnt contribute much to the discoveries (that was paige and phoebe)

it also might have something to do with the aftermath! i wonder if they reverse renneks spell, the world will forget about magic and everything will go back to normal?

  • #11

    gc (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 22:27)

  • #18

    accacipi (Thursday, 06 September 2012 08:03)

The sister do look ghostly, but I don't think the ruins are those of the manor. The columns look more like a Greek temple. I think there will be some more mythology. TCO becoming higher beings would be interesting, but then there are their families...
@p4fan4ever Good question. I think things will be back to normal.

  • #19

  • #20

    Julie (Thursday, 06 September 2012 22:14)

Looks like the manor in the background on the cover of issue 25 not a temple.

  • #21

    charmedcomicfan (Thursday, 06 September 2012 22:45)

it actually reminds me of a combination of the manor and Up There. both in ruins

  • #22

    accacipi (Friday, 07 September 2012 06:06)

The steps look like the entrance to the manor, but I don't know about the columns.

Hopefully, there's still the exciting cameo.

  • #7

    chloefan03 (Monday, 03 September 2012 12:37)

of course :) remember that the "exciting" cameo is only seen on a flashback and from behind so i'm sure that it's not the cameo Paul has in mind but only one of the 3 voices from beyond the grave

  • #8

    chloefan03 (Monday, 03 September 2012 12:44)

and now that we know that the answer can be found on Leo's past life, the cameo will probably be linked to him. Maybe Leo's dad, Leo's past life during the 20s, adult chris or wyatt, gideon...

  • #9

    David (Monday, 03 September 2012 12:58)

I love this artist - he/she has really given the series its own look and I hope that Zenescope keep them for season 10. My one wish for season 10 is that we have a consistent creative team because season 9 has been a mess in that regard and having the artist/colourists change from issue to issue and then being stuck with Dean Kotz ruined my enjoyment of season 9 a lot.

  • #10

  • #11

    josephjaymes (Monday, 03 September 2012 13:13)

    Wait, whose Alexi?

  • #12

    StoryGirl83 (Monday, 03 September 2012 13:26)

@josephjaymes - Alexi was in two issues of the previous story arc. She was a former contact of Cole's whom he went to as a last resort. She was a seer and she worked with Rennek for a bit. As she said, she should have known not to trust him.

And honestly, I'm glad to see Alexi, again. I found her to be an interesting character.

  • #13

    MattThomas1992 (Monday, 03 September 2012 16:04)

I thought Paige's likeness was incredible, but I think she's the easiest to draw from the variations we've seen. I'm quite impressed with Piper too.

I liked that it looks like Prue is using Coop's arrows.

Is it just me or does Phoebe look a little chubby on the first page?

  • #14

Chubby? Well, she just had a baby XD

  • #17

    nick_clark (Monday, 03 September 2012 18:02)

Rubine in two issues has become the best artist to me (Besides Abreu, Tess and Maniquis), I really hope Zenescope keep him as the main artist in season 10 with Tess doing the one-shots!

  • #18

    charmedcomicfan (Monday, 03 September 2012 18:48)

that would be the perfect plan! nick_clark :)

  • #19

    gc (Monday, 03 September 2012 19:14)

It's the daisy duke pig tail thing she's got going on that makes her look young, imho. Piper and Paige have great likenesses and I still see Shannen in Prue's likeness, but that's just me I'm sure.

Comic Book stores. If they don't have them, order them. Or you can buy them digitally from comixology for example

  • #25

    JoshingAbout (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 10:56)

Am I the only one who enjoyed Kotz' artwork? He had improved infinitely from his debut in Issue 9. Rubine's work in Issue 22 wasn't my favourite by a long shot but judging from these previews he (she?) has improved greatly with the likenesses and overall looks, with Holly's likeness on par with Maniquis' =]

I really like that this issue, much like Tess' issues, has a graceful femininity to it, much like the show did. I think the colouring is very easy on the eye and compliments Rubine's lineart.

I absolutely cannot wait for tomorrow to get my hands on this issue. This arc/volume has been rather slow IMHO, so I hope that this issue picks things up a notch ready for the finale in a few weeks :D

  • #26

    JoshingAbout (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 11:13)

Also, Alexi seems really old and frumpy in these previews. Perhaps that was the point since she's dead, but I really liked Kotz' vision of her where she was much more youthful.

I still want to know exactly what the Jewel of Orthonn is and if it'll play a part in this issue or the finale.

  • #27

    p2 (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 12:09)

  • #29

    Henry (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 14:14)

p2: I totally agree with you! Dean has improved but his drawings were incomplete and tiring! It would be really great if Zenescope chose Rubine as the artist for the whole season 10! I love his work! But how do you know that Dean will draw issue 24? It's a terrible news!

  • #30

    p3nathan (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 14:48)

I'm liking this new artist. Thank god Piper has long hair again. No offense to Dean, but she hadn't had it that short since season 1.

  • #31

    StoryGirl83 (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 17:22)

@p3nathan - You mean except when Reno Maniquis drew her? Because he drew her hair pretty short.

  • #32

    Charmedforevah (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 18:06)

Wow! The first page is amazing, the others are dissapointing except for the liknesses... At least, dean's work had some constistency! Hate the colors and hate the artwork!

  • #33

    p2 (Tuesday, 04 September 2012 18:39)

@henry i am not so sure but only dean kortz finished a issue so soon

  • #34

    StoryGirl83 (Wednesday, 05 September 2012 00:13)

@P2 - I'm not sure that has anything to do with it. We don't know how long the art work on this one has been done. Maybe there were hold ups with CBS and things needed to be redone. Or maybe there were issues with the colorist and it was taking too long. Who knows. I have a feeling Dean Kotz is not coming back. I could be wrong, but it seems likely with what has happened.

@JoshingAbout - My friend Es is very much with you about Dean Kotz. I think she will always love his art for drawing her pretty Ladybug. She's been very disappointed with how Phoebe's little girl has appeared in the comics. She's rather disappointed with Rubine and doesn't care for the likenesses. She has not seen these previews, so this is based entirely off of the previous issue.

Here's my opinion on artist likenesses of the characters or just what I think.
Prue - Tess (as Patience I think Rubine did win me over, but I still prefer little Prue's look)
    Piper - Tess (issue 19)
    Phoebe - Tess (issue 6)
Paige - Tess (issue 11), second place goes to Marcio for issue 7
Andy - Well, what do you think. Dean, but I do want something to compare it to.
    Leo - Marcio (issue 7)
    Coop - Dave (issue 1)
Cole - Reno (issue 10), second place goes to Rubine for issue 22
    Henry - Tess (issue 19)
Wyatt - toss up between Tess (issue 11) and Reno (issue 13)
    Chris - Tess (issue 11)
Melinda - Tess (issue 11), second place goes to Marciofor issue 5
    P.J. - Dean (issue 14)
Parker - Dean, but there are no options
Kat and Tamora - Tess (issue 6 . . . Although I don't actually know which twin it is)
Henry, Jr - Tess (issue 19)
    Grams - Tess (issue 11)
    Patty - Dean (issue 12)
Victor - Tess, yes, there's only one choice, but I do love that likeness.
    Sam - Tess (issue 11)
Elise - Tess (issue 6) I think although Dean in issue 20 was cool.
    Kyle - Marcio (issue 7)
    Neena - Carlos (issue 8)
    Darryl - Rubine (issue 22)
    Rennek - Marcio (issue 5)
    Mika - Tess (issue 6)
Tyler - David Seidman (honestly I don't care for any of the interior versions of him, but if I had to chose it would be Dave for issue 3)

@Charmedforeveh - I am with you on the colors. I really want to get rid of this colorist. It's not the art that has been in my attention this arc, it's the colors. I'm sorry they don't have a different colorist, because I'm not a fan of Falk or Dash Martin. I miss Michael Spicer and I will be very glad for whatever issue John Hunt does. I would also love to see Jason Embury, again. Depending on who he's paired with, I'd also like Jorge Maese, again, too.

Jorge Maese has always been my favourite colourist. He made issues 10 and 12 so dark and atmospheric. I wasn't a fan of Michael Spicer in his first issues but combined with Tess' artwork it looked really great.

I don't mind this new colourist - I rather like the softer tone. It gives the series a nice feminine look IMHO, much like how in Seasons 5-8 the lighting changed from darker to lighter, making it seem more airy. I really disliked John Hunt's colouring in Issue 5 but in Issue 6 it worked. Sometimes they're just hit and miss.

Gah, I hate time zones ... it means I'll have to wait a few more hours before I can read the issue on Comixology or Graphicly. Le cry T_T
