Are you planning to continue drawing the girls like how they are in #19 or revert back to the other comics? I personally like your take more.

What are the most challenging and interesting parts of illustrating a comic of the fantasy genre.

Is there anything in the Charmedverse (whether it be a location, a character, a power) that you are eager to illustrate but haven't yet had the chance to draw?

Out of the many artists that have worked on the comics, your art has shown to have the most attention for detail from the actual TV show. Is this something you do for the comics fans or for yourself to improve the feel of the comic?

Were you a fan of the show? Or has this universe just come with the job?

@MattThomas1992 - Tess has previously stated that she has been a big Charmed fan for years.

Will we see more of Billy or return of Darryl in future comic?

  • #11

    charmedcomicfan (Saturday, 10 March 2012 21:57)

@Casti3l+ @all - Tess is not the writer of the comic and i'm sure even if she knows she won't reply in future plot questions

    Tess (Saturday, 10 March 2012 22:01)

For the record I don't know ANYTHING about the plots of each book! So spoiler questions are useless. They don't tell me ANYTHING. Ever. Not even little hints. =) Any other subject is good.

Tess Fowler & Charmed Fan (Sunday, 11 March 2012 05:55)

why won't zenescope hire you as the main artist for Charmed? and don't say because u r slow because the comics are already slow and take a whole month for one issue to come out and don't forget the none-stop delays all the time, so even if u r slow... the comics are already slow, so why don't we have a good art anyways? better than a crappy art with so much waiting. I'd rather wait and have a good art.

I'm so glad to hear Tess is doing a question & answer!! My three questions:

    1. Of all the Charmed characters from the series, which one would you like to see make an appearance in the comics and which one would you like to illustrate that you haven't yet had a chance to?

    2. Initially, what is it about Charmed that drew you in and made you a fan of the series?

    3. Do you personally consider the comics a true extension of the series or just a continuing body of work inspired by the television series?

  • #15

    p3nathan (Sunday, 11 March 2012 11:13)

^ Come on now. A bit more respect for the artists please. It's fine to have opinions and a preference, but they all work very hard.

I don't like how I worded my third question; to be clear I should word it as follows:

Personally, do you view the Charmed Comics to be a body of work *inspired* by the Charmed television series or do you see them as an actual continuation of the television series?

    Ty (Sunday, 11 March 2012 14:50)

    Seerempath (Monday, 26 March 2012 16:19)

I will ask just one question.

    1) In comics, the portrayal of emotions tend to be very colourful, infact the very first portrayal of Phoebe's Empathy power had a Pink effect to represent Love. However, we have not seen her Empathy power represented in colour since. Can you explain why this is? Is it a personal choice or were you told not to draw her power with any effect?

  • #30

    Prudence (Monday, 26 March 2012 17:29)

    1. Which power was the most difficult for you to draw?
    2. If you were to draw Patience, do you plan on making her resemble Prue?
    3. Of the 3 sisters, who's the easiest to draw?

    2) Was Charmed the first comic you worked on and if not, what was?

    ZmaX (Sunday, 01 April 2012 02:36)

could you summarize your process of working on an issue for a comic? the general steps you take starting from getting the script.

Is drawing for the charmed comics different from your from your experiences on other comics? if so, what are a few examples?

Are there any other Tv Shows or movies you're a fan of and would want to be adapted into a comic so you could have the opportunity to work on?
