I love the reunion photos with Prue, Piper, and Phoebe...maybe it's just me but I definitely see a resemblance between Patience and Piper and Phoebe...maybe Patience was also a Warren Witch? Who knows, I just can't wait for it be next week so we can see what happens.

I can't stop thinking... when Paige says "I'm tired of this crazy life" is it a hint that she'll leave the power of three to the original Charmed Ones? I hope not, since I believe Prue.. or Pat ;)... made her time as a Charmed One and should give Paige the righteous place as a powerfull witch!

I can't imagine Paul taking any of Paige's power or status from her. But I'm sure we'll be kept on our toes :)

Well since the demons are surfacing and taking advantage of the big freeze... I'd like to see all four sisters do some serious demon ass kicking. I guess it depends how much control they have over their powers, but Prue and Paige still seemed pretty in control after the initial explosion

I really hope we see Prue with a new power :)

Oh my God!! This issue is amazing! Phoebe is pregnant and Prue relinquishes her powers to saving her sisters. She'll return to Salem... with Cole!! So we'll see them again :)It's not really a happy ending, however. Oh, and Leo is safe, but Rennek is still alive. I loved Prue's and Paige's scenes! And there's a Voldemort-style-guy that maybe jumped out of Leo's subconscious, but Rennek killed him.

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 13:16)

COMPLETE SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE. MAJOR SPOILERS:

    * We begin the issue with the 4 pages of the previews
    * Rennek chains Leo up with magic. He tells Leo that despite how perfectly functional the Halliwells are, the perfect opportunity to distract them long enough so they wouldn't miss Leo fell into his lap
    * Prue reckons that Paige will need some time to absorb all the information, as she probably never expected to meet her long-lost sister today.
    * Phoebe wonders if everything is okay between Cole and Coop, and we see some silent awkwardness between them downstairs.
    * Paige orbs back in and lets the girls know that Henry is frozen, but at least he's not attacking her this time.
    * Paige apologises to Prue for attacking her. Prue doesn't blame her, saying you can't be too careful with the family.
    * Paige and Prue FINALLY hug! Phoebe encourages a big group hug. Prue wonders if they really have time for a big hug, but Piper lets them know she's not going to be the one to let go first. Prue reminds the girls that they have to get their powers under control without making things worse. Piper says her powers have been wonky since the quake under the manor, and Phoebe is afraid of trying her powers.
    * Phoebe levitates but does so too quickly and flies straight into the ceiling, injuring her head. Paige heals her.
    * A glowing doorway appears. While Prue is ready to attack it, the girls let her know it's okay, that it's just a Magic School portal and Bailey comes through. She says the kids powers went crazy and Leo is missing, but the staff have put the kids under a sleeping spell, but they're not sure how long int'll hold.
    * Piper tries to Scry for Leo but it goes haywire, spinning furiously all over the place. Prue stops the crystal and says that she's affecting their powers, and that they must fix everything WITHOUT the Power of Three.

    * Leo is still chained up and he tells Rennek to either kill him or let him go: just to get it over with. Rennek tells Leo that he needs him alive because he knows something that he doesn't even realise he knows. It's hidden in his subconscious.
(The homoerotic atmosphere in these panels is through the roof xD)
    * A bald demonic figure appears Rennek tells Leo he just needs some help getting the information out.

    * Prue takes charge. She says that her and Piper will take to the streets to vanquish the demons, but they'll do it with potions and not their powers.
    * Paige says she knows some good generic vanquishing potions and she can orb them out to them. Prue instructs Phoebe with researching the Book of Shadows for something that will contain their powers.
    * Prue says she forgot how much fun this all was, minus the world in jeopardy after Piper points that out.
    * Prue and Piper are out on the streets, volleying potions left right and centre at demons. Prue tells Piper that she would have come back properly if she could have. Piper understands given the situation they're currently in. They have a touching moment where Prue says that despite what she's been through, nothing hurt more than missing Piper. Piper says that she can't cry at a time like this.
    * Prue says that they'll need more potions.
    * Meanwhile, Paige is busy making potions with Bailey. Paige says that she hasn't felt so out of place since she first met Piper and Phoebe. She questions her place as Charmed One now that Prue is back. She says that if things change she won't necessarily mind ...
    * Phoebe is in the attic having trouble figuring anything out, with her face lying in the Book. Cole says it must be difficult to read like that. Phoebe is about to give Cole a stern talking to, but he interrupts, saying that he has to get this off his chest:
    * He lets her know that he truly is sorry for all that he did, and that slipping into his old ways was a poor excuse, that his demon side had always been a kind of crutch. He know what he wants to be: a better man, and that he just wants Phoebe to not think so bad of him, because he truly did love her and always will. He's sorry for all the bad that he did, but also for all the good he didn't do.
    * Phoebe accepts his apology, saying that their relationship wasn't perfect and that she made her share of mistakes.

  • #17

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 13:17)

    * Prue and Piper return, wondering if they're interrupting. Phoebe says she's saying goodbye, and quips that they'll be joining Cole in the afterlife if they don't fix things.
    * Prue asks if there's no artefact or family trait they can exploit to fix things? Piper thinks they may have used them all already. But Paige comes in with a plan to fix things: she'll return the Power of Three to the way it was ... by stripping her powers.
    * Paige says that magic keeps getting in the way of her marriage and her family. She can live a normal life, get a normal job that pays actual money, Henry won't have to fall under so many spells. Phoebe says that Henry wouldn't want her to do this. Paige retorts that since he's frozen he doesn't get a vote. (Such a Paige thing to say XD)
    * Piper says she won't let Paige do this. Paige says its the best option, and that they don't have any more time.
    * Prue tells Cole this is why she kept away from her sisters, saying that none of this was supposed to happen. He answers by saying he was never meant to fall in love with a Witch, that she wasn't supposed to die, that Paige wasn't supposed to have been born - that there's no point in living in what is or isn't meant to be, but simply just to live in what IS.
    * Cole recaps all the stuff going on, and Prue notes that they won't get through this without the Power of Three. Cole holds Prue's hand and says that she told him that the Power of Three wouldn't let go of her ... but really he thinks its the other way around, that she couldn't let go.
    * Paige insists that she has to protect her family. Piper and Phoebe try to reason with her, before Prue chimes in that she agrees with Paige, that they must return the Power of Three to what it should be ...
    * She takes the potion from Paige and says that it'll be wrong for her to drink the potion, as she'll only grow to resent Henry for something he didn't want anyway: her powers gone. Prue says that her life has ended and that she needs to move on, to be powerless - that it's what she should have done in the first place.
    * Paige is slightly amazed, but Prue says that it's her job to keep her little sister from making a huge mistake, that it's now Paige's destiny, and she needs to rescue Leo and save the world.

OFF SCREEN: You don't see this, but many things happen in between panels. Prue drinks the potion, is stripped of her powers and thus the amplification of Piper's freezing stops, returning the world to normal. The girls find a way to locate Leo.

"You are the Charmed Ones now" - Prue.

    * The three Charmed Ones find Leo in a cavern of some such. He's fine, but the bald figure from before isn't: it has a darklighter arrow sticking out of its heart. Leo can't recall what Rennek did to him.

    * Prue is helping Piper fix the Manor's front door. She wishes that they could use magic or at least have Leo's help, but Piper says he's resting.
    * Piper is worried about what happened to Leo, but Prue assures her that the Charmed Ones will figure it out. Piper wishes that Prue could stay longer. Prue says she has a new life in Salem. She jokes that -someone- needs to get Cole away from Phoebe before she becomes evil again.
    * Phoebe is amazed that Cole is leaving with Prue. Cole says he needs to make up for his past, and that guiding witches will be how he does it, saying it'll keep him far away from Phoebe. Phoebe says that to truly move on they'll need to coexist, plus she plans to visit Prue as much as she can.
    * Cole puts a hand to Phoebe's abdomen, saying he doubts they've seen the last of each other, since Prue will want to see Phoebe in about 8 months time.
    * Paige notes that they can do stuff without magic: the door is fixed. Prue jokes that this is coming from the woman who put a glamour on the house so the neighbours wouldn't see it ruined.
    * Piper asks now that Prue doesn't have active powers if she'll have access to spells anymore. Prue doesn't think she'll ever be far from magic. As Prue goes to leave and close the door behind her, someone (presumably Piper) asks her to leave the door open, as they could use the fresh air in the house.

    * The door is left open, and outside we see Rennek lurking outside, quiver of arrows in tow, with the caption "Not the end".

    Henry (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 13:29)

(After the previews) Paige returns in the attic, she apologizes to Prue and the four sisters hug each other.
Meanwhile, Bailey, through one of the portals of the magic school, comes to the manor and she warns Piper, Phoebe and Paige of what is happening to their children, who have been magically asleep. She also tells Piper that Leo is gone. The witch tries to find her husband with the crystal but she can't. Prue thinks that all their magic has been affected. -Meanwhile Rennek tells Leo that he possesses in his subconscious useful information for his plan. And the scary man similar to Voldemort appears .
-The sisters decide to resolve the matter without the power of the Three. Piper and Prue face the demons, while Paige mix potions along with Bailey and Phoebe are looking for something in the Book of Shadows. Cole joins her in the attic and they clarify their problems (great scene).
-Prue and Piper reach Phoebe, and Paige comes immediately after asking the sisters to bind her powers. Piper and Phoebe don't want, and eventually Prue decides to give up her powers to protect "her little sister." Everything returns to normal and sisters reach Leo, and they get "Voldemort" dead. At the end of the issue Prue decides that she will return to Salem with Cole. Cole salutes Phoebe, and he announces that she is pregnant. Meanwhile Rennek observes sisters across the street.

power of three (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 13:49)

amazing issue! Piper and Prue (again this reminds me the last episode of season three when piper and prue fight shax outside the manor) together fight demons! paige and prue have great moments and phoebe is pregnat! when and why sisters used their power? their advancements were temporary right? thanks for the synopsis!

    Jill (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 14:13)

Hey so do we no for sure when prue came back to earth??? I'm assuming since she doesn't no about magic school she left Around season 6? And also why doesn't prue stay with them? Why move away?

  • #23

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 15:12)

Prue came back to earth around before Issue 1. The girls' advances in power were because of her magnetism as another Charmed One, giving them true power. So she returned to earth most presumably during Season 9.

Prue moves back to Salem because she has a new life. Things will never be the way they were and she finally knows that. She can still help guide witches, along with Cole's help.

@Power of Three - I think that the CO's new powers, ("George", the stronger empathy and the orb shield) are here to stay, since while Prue's presence helped unlock these powers, they were also gained because they -needed- the power to help them defeat the Source. However, I think Super-speed Flight and freezing half the country were temporary, yes :P

  • #24

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 15:19)

I really did love this issue! Paul really wrote the characters PERFECTLY. Paige's anxiety about being replaced, Prue's leadership and firm hand, Piper's emotions and Phoebe's quirkiness.

I liked how mysterious Rennek's plan was. I don't think we've seen the last of Alexi and the Jewel of Orthon either.

One thing I like about Prue moving away is that it still lets us see her in the future. She hasn't moved on back to the afterlife. Maybe we can get a Charon-related plotline later on.

Heck, maybe with her powerless maybe she'll get kidnapped? Cole will surely look after her, but we don't even know if he has active powers anymore.

  • #25

power of three (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 15:27)

Thank you! when and why sisters used their power it this one? what powers are used?

  • #26

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 15:36)

    Prue: n/a
    Piper: n/a
    Phoebe: Levitation,
    Paige: Orbing, Healing,
    Rennek: Dark Sword, dark-orbing aura
    Leo: Empyreal Sword & Wings

    Piper scryed.

Rocks are exploded in the issue, but the 'camera' angle doesn't really say who did it, so it's possible Piper blew open a chunk in the cavern that hid Leo.

God, I'm such a Prue/Cole fan. I could kiss Paul right now. Yeah, I'm not happy that Prue is leaving again, but SHE IS ALIVE which means we'll see her again and she will still be part of the Charmed Ones lives. MAYBE WE'LL GET A ONE-SHOT WITH JUST HER AND COLE! Cole is staying and he's staying with Prue and I'm so happy!

  • #28

    FANaticyeah (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 16:07)

This sounds amazing. I haven't read it yet but the only thing that bothers me from the summary is why Prue couldn't at least stay for dinner! ahahhahaha She had to leave right then and there?! Hopefully, we'll get a one-shot about Prue and Cole and their adventures later on. I really do hope she and her sisters stay in constant contact. It just wouldn't seem right that they wait a whole eight months until they see each other again (though this doesn't have to be "on-screen.")

  • #29

    GC (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 16:12)

I'm thinking that She and Cole haven't actually left just yet, given 20 and 21. Obviously in 20 they'll need Prue and Cole's help to get the world back in order, and in 21 if Witch hunting is going on Prue and Cole will have to protect their charges. They aren't really going anywhere just yet.

I wish we could have a Phoebe/Cole Oneshot...!

  • #33

    p4fan4ever (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 20:24)

i have a feeling... that rennek has prues telekinesis power... remember when cole stripped his powers they went into barbas... rennek might have intercepted them wherever they went... we didnt actually see prue strip her powers and we didnt see rennek during that point either... plus i dont think prue is leaving so soon yet anyway... the comic ended before they actually left... and something major happens inbetween issue 19-20 by the time 20 roles around everything is going to hell anyway so something major must happen in 19...

  • #34

    JoshingAbout (Wednesday, 01 February 2012 22:49)

If Rennek has in fact absorbed Prue's powers that would explain how in Issue 20 it says that the girls' aren't Charmed any more, because the 'Po4' is still intact, in a sense. Brilliant thinking.

Apparently the One-shot actually ties into Issue 20? Has this been confirmed or not? I'm not sure.

  • #35

    HalliwellManorAkaDsc385 (Thursday, 02 February 2012 11:41)

What Paul has done here is baloney. Prue giving up her Charmed powers? Ridiculous. And the whole Piper asking Prue to leave the door open completely ruins the whole Prue always closes the door with her telekinetic power theme. This is exactly why I DO NOT consider the comics to be part of the Charmed Universe.

  • #36

    HalliwellManorAkaDsc385 (Thursday, 02 February 2012 11:43)

And let me guess, Rennek is going to attempt to shot Prue with a darklighter arrow. This is just idiotic.

  • #37

    HalliwellManorAkaDsc385 (Thursday, 02 February 2012 11:45)

Also, this nullifies everything said in the series about it being Prue's destiny to be a Charmed One. So what, it is Piper and Phoebe's destiny to be Charmed and Prue's to be what? A black sheep with no power?

  • #38

    Henry (Thursday, 02 February 2012 12:22)

I disagree. Paul has solved many problems of previous authors. Without considering the fact that he wrote a story about Prue without using the features of Shannen Doherty. He had to remove Prue's powers... Her astral projection would have the appearance of Shannen, and as we know this is not possible.

  • #39

    Henry (Thursday, 02 February 2012 12:27)

And then sacrifice herself to save a sister is typical of Prue!

  • #40

    JoshingAbout (Thursday, 02 February 2012 13:17)

    @HalliwellManorAkaDsc385

Prue is dead. She doesn't need her Charmed legacy anymore. She's living a new life away from the Charmed Ones, helping witches with their own paths.

It's not known what Rennek wants. He may be after Prue, he may not. TBH I don't think he is, since he used Prue to distract the Charmed Ones away from Leo. I think he's after something to DO with the Charmed Ones though - something that Leo knew. Why go after Prue if she's no longer Charmed?

Asking Prue to leave the door open was symbolic. Closing the door signifies THE END. The caption on the page says NOT THE END. Their story IS NOT OVER YET. It was brilliant, to be honest.

I think you over analyse everything and fail to see the bigger picture.

  • #41

    JoshingAbout (Thursday, 02 February 2012 13:18)

And as Henry said: Prue sacrifices herself to save her sisters. This is Prue.

  • #42

    StoryGirl83 (Thursday, 02 February 2012 16:05)

I'm almost 100% sure that Rennek is not going to shoot Prue. I think he's just observing right now. He's smart. He plans and plans before making his move. And we don't know that Prue (and Cole) didn't stay for dinner. We just know that they aren't seen eating. Clearly time has passed and some events are skipped over since we never see Leo explaining what happened in any detail. I would be surprised if Prue didn't stick around long enough to share a meal with them and meet her nieces and nephews. She hasn't had Piper's cooking in how long? I mean really. It makes sense that it happened and we didn't see it because there weren't enough pages to go around.

  • #43

    p4fan4ever (Thursday, 02 February 2012 16:35)

    interesting question/thought

we never saw patience powers..... when the body dies and soul moves on we know powers move on with it... however... patience body didnt die therefore her powers should still be alive in her blood... meaning prue should be able to use them

also how do you all think the power prue uses in ep 1 and in the comic (when she transfers the cream from one cup to another and the water from the jug to the glasses) works... we dont physically see it move- but it does, does she move the molecules perhaps?

  • #44

    p4fan4ever (Thursday, 02 February 2012 16:36)

also who wold you cast in the roles of the new characters... for me portia derossi would be the perfect patience

  • #45

    Shax (Thursday, 02 February 2012 16:40)

    I totally agree with HalliwellManorAkaDsc385.
    I'm feel so angry!!
    The story is very ridiculous!

There are a lot of contradictions for example:

    we don't know when Prue has left the afterlife;
we don't know why the sisters doesn't had called Prue in the past.

Why she don't knows of magic school. She closed the door at the end of season7.

Piper wishes that Prue could stay longer. Prue says she has a new life in Salem
What??? Oh my God!!! This is crazy!! After 10 years!!

    And the Patience's body??

So if Piper die she can take another body and come back to life.

And Paige and Prue FINALLY hug! Phoebe encourages a big group hug!

    What??? So fast!!!!
    Where is the suspance?

I'm sorry but I'm so disappointed.

I think issue 18 shows us how AMAZING Season 9 is! Everything is just so PERFECT in this season. one of the best seasons of Charmed ever! it fixes & answers & continues everything in a unique way that fits the charmed universe.

  • #47

    p4fan4ever (Thursday, 02 February 2012 17:00)

first off... i loved the story...

we know when prue left the afterlife.. right around when they all started developing new powers.... she knew about billie and christy... so if she was in patience body when that was going on shed have know way of knowing... but since she was dead she could see from the afterlife (or the astral plane wherever she was at that point) regardless... she was dead during season 8 and could use spectral eavesdropping to see what was up.

and prue didnt know if she could take over a body... she tried and it worked

and the sisters didnt call prue all these years because like grams said charmed again part 1... seeing her and talking to her constantly would keep her alive for the girls and prevent them from moving on and living their own life and fulfilling their own destinies... in forever charmed penny acts shocked to see patty (when they are time traveling with the ring) so clearly at that point penny wasnt allowed to summon patty yet otherwise she wouldnt be so shocked to see her... we only see penny talking to pattys ghost when the girls are MUCH older

and regarding the body thing... after prue tried and succeeded in taking over a body they now know it can be done... however im sure it is very frowned upon by the elders, angel of destiny and God... also if a body is dead you cant take it over... the BODY still has to be alive... charon stole patience soul, her body however was still alive (the circumstances on how charon got patience soul without actually killing patience (killing the mortal body) where never explained but im sure sooner or later all that info will come out... had she just died and charon intercepted her soul then patience obviously wouldnt have been brought to a hospital- she would have been brought to a morgue! haha)

plus ghost whisper did something similar in it's fourth season which i think was brilliant! melinda (the main character) her husband dies but because of his love for his wife he couldnt move on... a huge accident happened in town... a man sam gets into an accident and as they are giving him cpr, his soul leaves the body and just as that happens, jim (melindas husband) jumps in!

  • #48

    p4fan4ever (Thursday, 02 February 2012 17:05)

regarding patience body... like i said THE BODY still had to be alive for a soul to take it over... when we first saw charon.. she KILLED that guard to give jackson ward a way off the island... he entered a DEAD body... that didnt bring it back to life thought... a soul can only take over an empty (souless) LIVING body... and how many of those are lying around... so you wont see it happen to often in the charmed universe

    p3nathan (Thursday, 02 February 2012 17:09)

How is it people are freaking out about Prue giving up her powers and leaving when Paul made a point of putting "Not the end" at the end of the issue? Paul said that issue 18 would not be the last issue of the 3rd arch.

    I personally loved the issue.

@p3nathan: I don't know, in the world of magic nothing's impossible, maybe a powerfull spell or something else, a great plan for destroying the Charmed Ones...
If Shannen will release her image's rights (but in my opinion she has already released them, otherwise nobody can drawn her and public her), Prue's soul is trapped by some demons in the underworld!

To the two people saying how the issue was horrible and bringing up moot points about contradiction...you frustrate me in a way I never thought imaginable. I really don't get you two at all.

How can anyone hate any of these issues, these storylines, the corrected mistakes from the show, the mythology...How?!

I see a possible Spin off comic series "Prue & Cole"

    StoryGirl83 (Sunday, 05 February 2012 18:08)

@Felix - It is definitely set up in sucha way that they could do that if they wanted to. It would be interesting to be sure, but I think Paul said if they did a spinoff he'd want to do one about the next generation. Still this one is set up right now if they want to.

Not sure about a whole spin off series. But perhaps a few bonus issues or one shots would be cool.

I don't care what it is as long as Prue and Cole are together....

Finally read it. There's always assumptions when it comes to the comics, and like I thought, there's no evidence of Prue immediately leaving after everything is said and done. I know its trivial but it was really bothering me that people were saying that Prue was saying her goodbyes and was getting ready to leave at the end of the issue when she really wasn't. Piper was just saying how she wishes she could stay longer than she already is while they were fixing the door. When Prue goes to close the door she is absolutely not leaving the house, she's still inside and showed no evidence of walking out at all. when Piper tells her to leave it open. Well there's my nitpicky rant now to the actual story.
It was great. It felt everything was much more rushed when I was just reading other fans' reviews and summaries but by reading the issue at its pace, I loved it. Prue stripping her powers was right and justified, Paige felt out of place like we all thought she would but didn't do anything crazy and Paige-haters should respect her for wanting to rid herself of everything she's become (we all know that magic has been Paige's # 1 since day 1) so Prue, Piper, and Pheobe could reunite.

Rennek plans keep unfolding and its not as stupid and segway-ish as I thought it was going to be. It also keeps in track with how the Billie and Christy fight was the sisters' last destined battle because Rennek's not after them, he's ultimately after Leo and the magical secrets deep in his subconscious and is only using the sisters as ends to justify the means.

Cole and Phoebe finally reconciling was great, absolutely great. That's pretty much all I can say about that situation. Phoebe being pregnant ALREADY?! She and Coop must do it like bunnies!

Though I desired for more emotional scenes, especially with Prue and Piper but we all know that ultimately this can't happen in comic book form, but this issue was just pure gold. I'm itching to see how this arc unfolds!

We all saw Phoebe's pregancy coming. Two of the sisters already have their three kids and Phoebe only has one. She had to get crackin'

    StoryGirl83 (Tuesday, 07 February 2012 19:53)

@FANaticyeah - Based off what we saw in "Forever Charmed", which Paul is stuck with, Phoebe and Coop's oldest two were close in age. Some say one year, some say two. PJ's already at least close to a year old. She may be older than that. While most of the story arcs happen in rather rapid succession, the time in between them is usually measured in months. I was commenting to a friend before this issue came out that Phoebe was probably going to have her second daughter some time in the next year. And that looks to be about right. Besides, Phoebe does still have eight months before this one is born. I hope that we get to see fun baby stuff, like Phoebe and Coop trying to decide on a name and Phoebe waddling around (or something like that) and not being able to reach her toes.

this would never happen, especially since its very fan fiction esq but imagine if phoebe temporarily gave prue her power while she was pregnant so the charmed ones could still kick ass... phoebe on charmed maternity leave so to speak haha

Technically if Paige striped her powers, shes still a whitelighter, so unlike Prue who strips her powers and is powerless to fight demons now, Paige suggesting it made sense. I reckon Prue's going to die again, and her soul will go to the afterlife reunited with her original body, because she aint got any chance of survival as a mortal now.

  • #68

    StoryGirl83 (Thursday, 09 February 2012 07:19)

@Jenn - Well, she does have Cole, and Prue has some ability with hand to hand combat that would come in handy on occation as well. She may not be ready for all situations, but she's not entirely defenseless either. And although, she probably can't use spells anymore, not after a stripping potion, I bet she can still use potions (although can she make them, who knows. That was always Piper's thing).

    MattThomas1992 (Friday, 17 February 2012 21:00)

@p4fan4ever - That is quite an interesting thought, maybe Paul set it up to do that. It would be interesting if the sisters swapped and changed the power of three, although it might get annoying and take away from the prophecy. But seeing a power of three as Prue, Piper and Paige is definitely an interesting thought.

Well it's been shown countless times that the sisters can't handle eachother's powers; not effectively.

It's a pretty cool idea, but I personally hope being pregnant will force Phoebe to use her empathy more since she probably won't be levitating and body slamming demons.

Why couldn't the Charmed Ones just cast a spell to relinquish Prue of her Charmed destiny; she could be just a regular witch.

I'm sorry but I don't buy into the theory that if they're not Charmed, they're not witches. Even if Paige wasn't a Charmed One, she would still be a witch and I believe she was born with the power of telekinetic orbing, she didn't just receive it when she became a Charmed One.

If the prophecy would've robbed Paige of her powers, then Piper and Phoebe would be powerless after Prue died since they were no longer Charmed. When Paige met her sisters, her powers came unbound, as in they were just inactive this whole time, not absent. And if their powers conformed to the prophecy's guidelines, wouldn't Piper receive Prue's powers, Phoebe receive Piper's powers, and Paige receive Phoebe's powers. Clearly, the prophecy allows for some leeway.

The point I'm trying to make is that Prue could still be a witch with the power of TK without being Charmed. They just have to come up with the right spell, potion, etc. She would still be a powerful witch, just not Charmed One-powerful. Make a good spin-off. It could be about Prue's new life in Salem, possibly getting a new whitelighter. Of course, people would probably want to see Shannen's likeness used as opposed to the Patience character.
